Concept:
The trigonometric functions sin x, cos x, tan x, cot x, sec x, and csc x all have graphs which are subject to the same reflections, stretches, shrinks and shifts as the graphs of other functions. The graphs of tan x, cot x, sec x, and csc x have vertical asymptotes which are transformed along with the function. Some important relationships between pairs of functions may be more apparent by examining their graphs in the same coordinate system.
